What do you enjoy the most about your internship?
I enjoy the people at Heim, Young & Associates the most. The team here is fantastic. They’re all so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to be here with them and learn from them.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on starting my career in financial planning and hopefully be Certified Financial Planner (CFP) one day down the road. I hope to be at a firm like Heim, Young & Associates.
What recommendation(s) would you give other Breech students about internships?
My recommendation to younger students seeking internships is to find ones that are in the field that you hope to go into. Also, to do as many internships as possible in your undergraduate career. So start early to build up your resume. It’s also important to be assertive towards the internships you want the most, don’t just apply online, reach out to them and make it evident that you really want the position, this will help more than you can imagine.
